Resolved Question: Do you know of the sculptor Loet Vanderveen?

He does wild animals. He has an interesting story. He lived in Rotterdam, Holland when he was a boy during WWII. He lived next to a zoo, and would listen to the animals while he was in bed, and dream of going on a safari one day. When the military was expecting a bombing in his town, as a precaution, they destroyed the wild animals at the zoo. His home was destroyed, and eventually he moved to New York and became a fashion designer. But one day he had the opportunity to meet a famous Chinese sculptor, and study with him...and the rest is history. I think his work is so beautiful. What do you think?
